The unfortunate aspect of songs like The Game‘s “Don’t Shoot,” among other protest songs to arise in recent weeks, is that they are songs that shouldn’t have to be made. But, regardless of the reason The Game assembled one of the most impressive lineup of rappers ever to appear on a single track, the fact of the matter is that this song now exists, and it is a powerful punch to the gut.
